A US site where you can order custom made dolls, OR order all the bits you need to make your own - wigs, pre-cut bodies, fabrics, patterns for dolls clothes etc etc - spend some time looking at this beautiful site.

there is a good book with full instructions on how to make these dolls.

I have since made dolls for DD's friend's for birthdays but don't have any other pics. The face is the most important part to get right - to make the features not too adult... the above book is fantastic in directing you the right way to achieve particular 'faces'.
