1.take one skirt that's seen better days - in this case it's Miss Five's skirt. Viewed: 317 times.

4. work out how long you want the handle, whether you want one or two etc and cut strip of fabric to suit. Viewed: 234 times.

5. hem the short ends of the 'handle' first. Then, right sides together, sew the two long edges together so the fabric ends up as a along cylinder. Turn it out the right way (the fun bit!)
PS if you make the handles to thin, they will be a pain in the rear to turn in the right way... esp if they're made of a stiff material like denim. Viewed: 253 times.

6. stitch the handle to two points on opposite sides of the 'skirt' - stitch the handle to the INSIDE of the skirt. Viewed: 259 times.

7. with the skirt inside out, trim the corners and sew up the 'bottom' of the skirt so it's a bag. Viewed: 259 times.

8. turn it in the right way and there you go! Viewed: 264 times.
